Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM210CP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FAM210CP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where FAM210CP RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FAM210CP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and READ show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, THCA, and READ are the cancer types where FAM210CP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
