The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher FAM201B RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM201B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and OV show a favorable association.
SKCM, OV, and LIHC are the cancer types where FAM201B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
