Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM177A1P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM177A1P1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FAM177A1P1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM177A1P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PRAD and COAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUSC, and MESO are the cancer types where FAM177A1P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
