Across TCGA cell cohorts, FAM172A RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,898 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FAM172A-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Golgi organization, Protein localization to cilium, and Protein localization to non-motile cilium. Each is linked with FAM172A in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FAM172A-to-partner and partner-to-FAM172A results are reported.
