Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM13C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM13C data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher FAM13C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM13C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where FAM13C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
