Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM136BP RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM136BP data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher FAM136BP RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM136BP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and MESO show a favorable association.

COAD, LIHC, and KIRP are the cancer types where FAM136BP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
