Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM126B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM126B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher FAM126B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM126B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where FAM126B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
