Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM122C RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM122C data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FAM122C RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM122C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and SKCM show a favorable association.

LUAD, SKCM, and LGG are the cancer types where FAM122C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
