Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAF1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAF1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FAF1-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAF1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and KIRC show a favorable association.

LUAD, COAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where FAF1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
