Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FABP6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FABP6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher FABP6 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FABP6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where FABP6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
