Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, F9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated F9 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher F9 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated F9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and ESCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, LUAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where F9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
