Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, F13B RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated F13B data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher F13B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated F13B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and COAD show a favorable association.
MESO, ACC, and UCEC are the cancer types where F13B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
