Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ETV3L RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ETV3L data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ETV3L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ETV3L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and ESCA show a favorable association.
KIRC, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where ETV3L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
