Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ESPL1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ESPL1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ESPL1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ESPL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ESPL1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
