Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ESD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ESD data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher ESD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ESD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ESD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
