Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ERVK9-11 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ERVK9-11 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher ERVK9-11 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ERVK9-11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and KIRC show a favorable association.

MESO, UVM, and KIRC are the cancer types where ERVK9-11 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
