Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ERLIN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ERLIN1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ERLIN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ERLIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where ERLIN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
