Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ERG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ERG data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher ERG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ERG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

DLBC, CESC, and LGG are the cancer types where ERG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
