Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ERC2-IT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ERC2-IT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ERC2-IT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ERC2-IT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and THCA show a favorable association.

UVM, CESC, and READ are the cancer types where ERC2-IT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
