Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EPS15L1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EPS15L1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher EPS15L1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EPS15L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and COAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where EPS15L1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
