Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EMCN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EMCN data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher EMCN Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EMCN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC and PRAD are the cancer types where EMCN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
