Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ELOB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ELOB data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ELOB Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ELOB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where ELOB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
