Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF4E1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated EIF4E1B data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher EIF4E1B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EIF4E1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and LGG show a favorable association.

UCEC, CESC, and LIHC are the cancer types where EIF4E1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
