Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EIF1AXP2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of EIF1AXP2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where EIF1AXP2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types EIF1AXP2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where EIF1AXP2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
