Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EGFEM1P RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated EGFEM1P data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher EGFEM1P RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EGFEM1P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and THCA show a favorable association.
KIRP, THCA, and UCS are the cancer types where EGFEM1P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
