Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EEFSEC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EEFSEC data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher EEFSEC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EEFSEC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
CESC, KIRC, and PRAD are the cancer types where EEFSEC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
