Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EEF1A1P20 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of EEF1A1P20’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where EEF1A1P20 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types EEF1A1P20 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PAAD, COAD, and THCA are the cancer types where EEF1A1P20 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
