Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EDNRB-AS1 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of EDNRB-AS1’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where EDNRB-AS1 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types EDNRB-AS1 is over-expressed in tumor.

KIRP, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where EDNRB-AS1 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
