Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EDN3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EDN3 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher EDN3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EDN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
KICH, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where EDN3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
