Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EDEM3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EDEM3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher EDEM3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EDEM3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where EDEM3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
