Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, EDC4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated EDC4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher EDC4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated EDC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where EDC4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
