Across TCGA patient cohorts, EDA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 58 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible EDA-associated genes across cancer lineages are Src_pY527, mTOR_pS2448, and PKC-b-II_pS660. Each is linked with EDA in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both EDA-to-partner and partner-to-EDA results are reported.
