The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DUX4L47 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DUX4L47 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, THYM, and KIRP are the cancer types where DUX4L47 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
