Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DTX2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DTX2 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher DTX2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DTX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THYM and ESCA show a favorable association.
KIRC, LGG, and UVM are the cancer types where DTX2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
