Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DTWD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DTWD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DTWD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DTWD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where DTWD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
