Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DSCR4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DSCR4 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher DSCR4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DSCR4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and DLBC are the cancer types where DSCR4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
