Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DPP4-DT RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of DPP4-DT’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where DPP4-DT RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types DPP4-DT is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and UCEC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, LUAD, and KICH are the cancer types where DPP4-DT tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
