Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DOP1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DOP1A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher DOP1A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DOP1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

GBM, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where DOP1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
