Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DOCK9-DT RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of DOCK9-DT’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where DOCK9-DT RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types DOCK9-DT is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, LUAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where DOCK9-DT tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
