Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNAJC5B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNAJC5B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher DNAJC5B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNAJC5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where DNAJC5B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
