Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNAJB7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNAJB7 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DNAJB7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNAJB7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where DNAJB7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
