Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNAJB5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNAJB5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher DNAJB5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNAJB5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CCRCC and OV are the cancer types where DNAJB5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
