Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DLD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DLD data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher DLD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DLD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, LIHC, and LAML are the cancer types where DLD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
