Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DHRS7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DHRS7 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DHRS7 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DHRS7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and KIRC show a favorable association.

HNSC, BRCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where DHRS7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
