Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DHRS7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DHRS7 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher DHRS7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DHRS7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where DHRS7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
