Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DHRS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DHRS2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher DHRS2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DHRS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

ESCA, DLBC, and BLCA are the cancer types where DHRS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
