Across TCGA cell cohorts, DES RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,078 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DES-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are COPII-coated vesicle budding, Axoneme assembly, and Negative regulation of metallopeptidase activity. Each is linked with DES in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DES-to-partner and partner-to-DES results are reported.
