Across TCGA patient cohorts, DERA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,483 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DERA-associated genes across cancer lineages are ALDH16A1, ACTR3B, and FMC1. Each is linked with DERA in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DERA-to-partner and partner-to-DERA results are reported.
