Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DENND4A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DENND4A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DENND4A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DENND4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
HNSC, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where DENND4A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
