Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEFB110 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DEFB110 data layer compared with 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher DEFB110 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB110 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where DEFB110 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
